Seniors’ computer learning is a priority for The Bay Area Seniors Computer Club, and it has started an online seniors’ network with user generated content. Visitors can upload their own videos and photos, browse the collection of tutorials, go to the Forum, or start their own blogs.
The nonprofit club has been offering free computer classes for seniors and free workshops since the year 2000. The internet site is yet another way to provide free seniors’ computer learning.
The Bay Area Seniors Computer Club Multimedia and Tutorials has videos that range from Google’s recent Internet Summit 2009, “The Future of the Internet” to tips for using Picasa 3, news on the upcoming Windows 7 operating system, and “What Is A Blog.” The tutorial below on Picasa 3 is an example of the tutorials on the website.
